A couple of weeks ago, some of us from my local camera club headed out to Bingley Five-Rise locks to take advantage of the warm weather and golden sunset.
Had I planned this properly, I would have taken my ND filters and a tripod to try and get some nice milky-smooth water on the canal. Instead, I had to make do with a steady hand or, as I’ve done many times, find a level surface to rest on for the longer exposures.
We were treated to a beautiful sunset and light that was a joy to shoot in and the fantastic Five-Rise locks provide some stunning scenery.
