Last summer I headed to my local airport with my Sigma 18-200mm to have a crack at some aeroplane photography. Leeds-Bradford Airport is well suited to photographers as you can get fairly close to the end of the runway without much bother, though on nicer days it can get rather crowded with photographers.
This was my first time using the 18-200 as I’d just purchased it to take on the month-long honeymoon to America and was desperate to test it out. It’s not the sharpest (or quickest) lens, but with good light and some anticipation with what the shot will be you can get some good results.
As ever, you can see the full gallery here.
